Coronation Street’s Vicky Myers declared ‘love’ by Emmerdale star in ‘little sister’ message

Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has been declared love by one of Emmerdale’s most famous cast members in a message to her ‘little sister’.
Those who follow the ITV soap best know the actress for playing DS Lisa Swain, having made her debut in the role back in 2021. At the time, Lisa was brought in to investigate the assaults on Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin, which led to the latter’s death.
Viewers then saw her face backlash Daisy Midgeley after the police didn’t stop her stalker Justin Rutherford before he launched a horrific acid attack on her wedding day, also hurting and permanently scarring Ryan Connor.
She was then seen hunting down serial killer Stephen Reid, only for him to be ploughed into and killed on the street by Peter Barlow, before, last year, she found herself on and off the case of Joel Deering, who groomed Lauren Bolton before she went missing and returned pregnant.
The major storyline marked Lisa’s intergration into Weatherfield life, as it was also at that time that she grew close to her now-fiancee Carla Connor.
But it was long before her Corrie role that Vicky became friends with fellow soap star, Lisa Riely, who is famed for playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale.

They appeared in BBC’s Manchester-based drama, Age Before Beauty, in 2018, which was before Lisa returned to Emmerdale the following year, and before Vicky took on the role of DS Swain – as she was then only known.
But last week, the pair were both seen enjoying the 2025 Inside Soap Awards as they celebrated their respective soaps, with Lisa picking up the Best Family gong on behalf of the Dingle clan, while Vicky went home with the Best Actress and for Best Partnership alongside her on-screen partner Alison King, who plays Carla Connor on the cobbles.
A week on, and Lisa shared a photo of herself and Vicky appearing on a magazine cover following the event and said: “Me and my little TV Sis @vicksmyers on the cover of this weeks @bestmagofficial with all the behind the scenes photos from last weeks @insidesoapmagazine awards. Love ya babes!!!”
And fans were quick to respond.
Last year, Lisa was also seen showing Vicky her support. She gushed over on her X, formerly known as Twitter, account and said: “So unbelievably proud of my TV baby sister @VixMyers playing the role of Lisa so brilliantly @itvcorrie.
“I have always said,and mean it from the bottom of my heart,BEAUTIFUL THINGS HAPPEN TO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE. Keep being you babes #coronationstreet @emmerdale #emmerdale#proud.”
