đ¨â ď¸ BREATH-TAKING: Kevin Webster climbs onto the roof in despair â a tragedy is about to unfold on Coronation Street
Death danger for Kevin in Coronation Street as he takes to the garage roof

Coronation Streetâs Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) is a man on the edge â literally. Pushed to breaking point, he risks danger by climbing onto the garage roof where an unlikely saviour comes to his rescue. Can they talk him down before itâs too late?
When was the last time we say Kevin smile? Probably before the conniving Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) slithered his way onto the Street. Kevinâs life has fallen apart ever since his conniving half-brother ran off with his wife Abi Webster (Sally Carmine-Duttine).
This began his hatred-fuelled vendetta against Carl. Kev even tried to expose him at Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) and Ronnie Baileyâs (Vinta Morgan) as the dangerous driver who left Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) with life-changing injuries. But without any evidence, Carl talked his way out of trouble once again.
Then Corriedale happened. And Carl sank to a new low.
With a screaming Debbie in the passenger seat, a drunken Carl caused the multi-car pileup that killed Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and slid an unconscious Debbie into the passenger seat. Taking advantage of her dementia, Carl gaslit her into believing she was behind the wheel the whole time.
Right from the get-go, it was obvious to Kevin that Carl set Debbie up to take the fall. It was even obvious to Debbie, as the bruises from the seatbelt she sustained in the accident suggest she was in the passenger seat, not the driverâs seat.
However, much to Kevinâs frustration, Debbie refuses to hear a word against Carl and is more than willing to go to prison for him. Even when presented with evidence that Carl is treating her business accounts like a personal biggie bank, she wonât budge. Rubbing salt into the wound, Debbie made it clear to Kevin who sheâd pick if he forced her hand.
âYou can try and turn me against him all you likeâ Deb warned, âBut donât force me to choose between you and him because you wonât like the outcome.â
How to explain this unwavering loyalty? Carl is actually Debbieâs secret son. However, Kevin doesnât know that. As far as heâs concerned, Deb has chosen her favourite brother.

Their relationship is one of a long list of things that Carl has taken from him, and upcoming scenes will see Kevinâs depression spiral into worrying new depths.
With the garage roof leaking, Abiâs worries intensify when she finds Kevin asleep at Street Cars flat and confides her fears in Debbie. Itâs clear that Kevin is not looking after himself or his business.
Itâs not just the garage that Kev is neglecting. When his son Jack Webster (Kryan Bowes) finds no food at home and the living room looking like a bombâs hit it, he decides to stay with Abi for a few days, leaving Kevin devastated.
Alone, Kevinâs practically hit over the head with his own guilt when he pulls out a âWorldâs Best Dadâ mug from the sink.
The last thing he needs is Brian calling at the garage to nag him about fixing his dodgy clutch. And when Bryan canât help commenting on the leaky roof, suddenly the clutch isnât the only thing at breaking point. Kev finally snaps and lobs an empty bottle of Vodka, narrowly missing Bryan. Deeply concerned, Bryan rushes to the factory to get help.

A crowd gathers at the garage as Bryan, Sally and Tim do their best to persuade Kevin down from the garage roof. But Kevin refuses to come downâŚ. So Abi of all people climbs up on the roof to join him.
After going behind his back for months with Carl, Abi might be the very worst person to convince Kev not to take a leap onto the Cobbles. But she too had her fingers burnt by the Worst Webster.
Not long after starting a new life with Carl, Abi soon got a bad case of buyerâs remorse when she discovered Carl was getting hot and steamy with James Bailey (Jason Callender).
She might be the only other person in Weatherfield aside from Kevin who knows what Carl is capable off.
