Coronation Street ‘reveal’ two unexpected twists as revenge is sough

With backstories explored and an emotional heart-to-heart, Coronation Street isn’t holding back when it comes to the drama next week, as revealed in our new spoiler videos.
The strange connection between Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and newcomer Mick is the subject of much speculation, with Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) determined to get to the bottom of it in upcoming scenes.
Mick, meanwhile, is up to no good while at work, with Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) set to face his wrath in a sinister showdown.
Elsewhere on the Street, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) struggles in the wake of her diagnosis with dementia and, following a heartfelt discussion with Abi (Sally Carman), she looks set to open up about what she’s going through.

Liam is determined to get back at Mick over the prank he pulled previously, replacing the sugar with salt. After making a cup of tea, Mick takes a drink and, horrified at the taste, he spits it out.
His colleagues laugh, leaving Mick feeling humiliated. He looks livid, determined to get revenge on unsuspecting Liam.
Later, he locks Liam in a toolshed.

Debbie reveals that, despite her previous reservations, she thinks the world of Abi, believing that she has been a rock for Kevin at his time of need.
As they discuss his illness, Debbie breaks down in tears, leaving Abi wondering if there’s something more going on that she’s not aware of.
Carl arrives just as Debbie is about to reveal her dementia diagnosis. But will she do so?
Friday May 16
Bernie lets herself in to Kit’s flat, much to his dismay. She wants to know why he’s covering for Mick, determined to find out if Mick is pressuring or bullying him.
Kit deflects, berating Bernie for snooping in his life, reminding her that she wasn’t around for the first three decades of it. As the animosity simmers between the mother and son duo, Kit takes back the key to his flat.
With a picture of a younger Kit visible on the table, will viewers finally get answers about the detective’s past with newcomer Mick?
