Next week on Coronation Street, Sarah is forced to cover for Todd when Theo’s wife jumps to the wrong conclusion, while Jenny is further taken in by Daisy and Christina’s catfish con.
Meanwhile, Lauren and Betsy are caught red-handed after stealing Tracy’s van.
1. Sarah is accused of having an affair
Sarah consoles Todd when he admits his fears that Theo will never tell his family the truth about his sexuality.
Meanwhile, Theo’s wife Danielle vents to George about Sarah flirting with Kit despite dating Todd. She’s floored when George puts her straight about Todd’s sexuality.
Later, Danielle spots Sarah placing her arm around Theo and jumps to conclusions. She confronts Sarah and Todd in the pub, and accuses Sarah of having an affair with Theo.
2. Theo pushes Todd away
Distraught over recent events, Theo tells Todd that he has destroyed his family, and he needs to fix it.
Still on the warpath, Danielle encounters Sarah again and demands to know where Theo is. Sarah grows tired of Danielle’s accusations and tells her to speak to Todd instead.
Meanwhile at the factory, Theo ends his relationship with Todd and suggests they avoid each other from now on. As Danielle heads to the factory, will she uncover the truth?
3. Jenny is tricked by Daisy and Christina
Jenny is over the moon when ‘Dom’ arrives at The Rovers. Daisy is taken aback by the ruse, but Christina reveals that it’s the next step of her plan.
The con soon becomes clear when Dom informs Jenny about a lucrative opportunity. He intends to sell his business and anyone who invests in the coming days will receive double their money.
Unaware that that she’s being scammed, Jenny considers the offer.
4. Daisy has a proposal for Daniel
Daisy and Christina mask their excitement when Jenny confirms that she wants to invest in Dom’s company.
Aware that she’ll soon have her hands on Jenny’s cash, Daisy makes out to Daniel that an aunt has decided to gift her money. Daniel is surprised when Daisy tells him that she wants to use it to start a new life together away from Weatherfield.
5. Daniel catches Christina out
Daisy and Christina are shocked when Jenny reveals that she spent the night with Dom. Although they didn’t sleep together, they did spend the night talking – and Jenny confesses that she’s falling for him.
Daisy and Daniel arrive at the hotel for a couples massage, but Daniel is given pause when he finds Christina and Dom together. Will he uncover Daisy and Christina’s con?
6. Lauren visits Reece in prison
Lauren is relieved when the doctor informs her that Frankie is making good progress, and it won’t be long before he can be discharged.
Lauren’s happiness is brought to a halt when a nurse gives her a parcel for Frankie, and she notices the prison stamp.
Shaken by Reece reaching out, Lauren decides to pay him a visit.
7. Lauren and Betsy take Tracy’s van for a spin
Betsy lashes out at Tracy and Carla for endangering her life due to the hostage situation with Rob. Lisa attempts to calm Betsy down, but gets nowhere.
Lauren finds Betsy destroying the contents of the florist van but as she tries to stop her, Tracy approaches. Panicked, Lauren drives off in the van with Betsy in tow.
In the precinct, Lauren and Betsy assess the damage. Lauren begins to worry and admits that she never passed her driving test as a police car pulls up to the scene.
8. Dylan lashes out at Brody
Sean is spooked when Mick threatens him and makes it clear that if he causes any more trouble for Brody, there will be hell to pay.
At the STC, Brody continues to torment Dylan but when he makes homophobic comments about Sean, Dylan can’t contain his anger. Dylan punches Brody to the ground and starts kicking him.
9. Gemma and Chesney’s friendship with Mick causes tension
Gemma is placed in an awkward position when Mick calls at The Rovers and invites her to join him and Lou for dinner. Jenny suggests Gemma should stay well clear of Mick and Lou as it’s clear they’re bad news.
Sean is furious when he overhears Gemma and Lou discussing dinner plans. Gemma feels terrible when Sean accuses her of siding with the enemy.
Meanwhile, Chesney returns from London and learns of the recent conflict. He determines to confront Mick, but Gemma fears that Mick will turn violent. What will Chesney do?
10. Dee-Dee has a meeting with Zoe
Dee-Dee receives a visit from Zoe and her brother Wes, apologetic over their recent behaviour. Zoe is one of the hospital staff implicated in Dee-Dee’s ongoing complaint.
Later, Dee-Dee fills Alya in on the meeting and explains that Zoe has agreed to push for extra training focusing on Black maternity experiences.
Feeling positive after the meeting, Dee-Dee decides to return to work.
11. Debbie worries she’s put Laila at risk
Debbie agrees to look after Laila for the day but when Laila develops a temperature, Debbie takes her to the doctors. Concerned, Dee-Dee decides to accompany her.
At the hospital, the doctors run tests and attempt to get Laila’s temperature under control.
Meanwhile, Debbie discovers that the formula milk she gave Laila is out of date and fears she’s responsible for making her sick.
12. Roy urges Brian to be honest
Julie decides she wants to spend the fundraiser money on a trip to the Lakes and organises a group visit.
Roy clocks that Julie is in pain and offers her a heated wheat sack. When Roy explains that Hayley swore by them during her illness, Julie breaks down in tears.
Later, Brian confesses to Roy that he’s still in love with Julie, and Roy urges him to tell Julie how he feels.
13. Eileen has doubts about George
The trip to the Lakes is cancelled when the minibus breaks down but Julie insists she’s happy to be surrounded with friends and family.
Despite a warning from George to tread carefully, Brian tells Julie that he’s in love with her and wants to be by her side until the end.
Eileen is less than impressed to learn that George tried to come between Brian and Julie’s happiness and begins to have reservations about their relationship.
14. David finds out about Sarah and Kit
Following the drama with Todd and Theo’s wife, Sarah decides to open up to Kit about her history with Todd.
Later, David and Shona arrive home from visiting Gail and receive a shock when they find Kit wearing only a towel.
David fumes about Sarah’s taste in men as Kit tries to control his temper.
15. There’s still a spark between Abi and Carl
Despite their recent clash over Abi’s belief that Carl deliberately sabotaged her plans with Kevin, it’s clear that there’s still a romantic spark between Abi and Carl.
As she works on repairs for the hotel van, Abi and Carl share a flirty exchange at reception before Abi heads home. Will the pair continue to be able to resist temptation?
