Showdown Alert: Dylan Confronted by Menacing Mason in Latest Coronation Street Drama

Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) is set to take worrying measures to protect himself from Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) in Coronation Street next week.

Since Mason’s release from prison last month, Dylan has been increasingly terrified. Upcoming scenes will show Dylan growing more anxious as Mason reintegrates into the local community.

The week kicks off with Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) spotting Mason stealing food. Feeling sympathetic, Stu offers Mason a bed at No 6 and a job as a potwasher at Speed Daal.

Stu’s offer is met with disapproval from the locals, and Dylan’s anxiety intensifies when Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) warns him that Mason will have access to sharp knives while working at the restaurant, suggesting he should avoid crossing Mason.

With Dylan’s fear evident, his father Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) decides to take action and confronts Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) and Stu at Speed Daal over Mason’s employment.

Meanwhile, Betsy admits to Mason that she warned Dylan about him carrying a knife. Mason, annoyed, asserts that he can handle his own problems.

When Dylan later spots Mason in the precinct, a confrontation seems imminent – will Dylan end up getting hurt?

Actor Luca Toolan has teased that fans will see a new side of Mason following his return, with more details about his backstory and character development.

“You’re going to see a different side to Mason,” he told us exclusively on the red carpet at the Radio Times Soap Awards. “We’ll explore family situations, dynamics, jobs, careers, and friendships, rounding him out as a person.”

Has Mason truly changed?
