Coronation Street ‘confirms’ killer as unexpected connection is made in new spoiler videos
Coronation Street serves up another intense week of drama, as confirmed in my spoiler videos below, with an unexpected development in the investigation into Joel Deering’s (Calum Lill) murder.
The ITV soap has really picked up the pace this past month, delivering twist after twist in the Joel story and next week you can expect even more of those, with Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) making quite the discovery.
The newcomer spots mum Lisa (Vicky Myers) looking at a bruise on her back and, despite the detective claiming that she picked up the injury at the gym, Betsy knows there’s more to this tale than meets the eye.
Lisa, meanwhile, confides in Carla Connor (Alison King) about her difficult relationship with her daughter but Carla is quick to heap praise upon her for how she’s juggling her job with parenting.
Things, however, take a turn as their connection develops.
Elsewhere, Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is left startled and Mason Ratcliffe (Luca Toolan) comes to the rescue of Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
For a first look at all of the above I’ve got you covered, with four new video clips of next week’s cobbles drama.
Sunday October 27
Bethany pours a drink for her and Daniel at the flat but she accidentally spills one of the glasses over her top. Daniel arrives just after she removes her top and sees her stoma bag for the first time.
Bethany screams at him to get out. As the door closes and Daniel leaves, Bethany feels guilty over how she treated her boyfriend.
Note: This episode can be streamed now on ITVX.
Monday October 28
Carla reassures Lisa that she’s doing a great job as a mum with Betsy, putting a comforting hand on her back. Lisa, however, flinches and makes her excuses as she swiftly exits, leaving Carla feeling bad.
Wednesday October 30
Having discovered bruises on Lisa’s back, Betsy relays her worries about her mum to Mason, knowing that she’s not being honest about something.
Betsy asks Mason about when Joel was killed, with the former school bully stating that it was September 27. Betsy reels, worried that her mum had something to do with it.
Friday November 1
Liam crosses Rosamund Street and doesn’t see Chesney coming toward him in his car. Mason witnesses the scene unfold and steps in to save Liam’s life, with Chesney apologetic afterwards.
Mason apologises for what he did to Liam previously, with Liam seemingly accepting the apology, but he tells the former bully to leave him alone. Dev witnesses the conversation from afar and gets the wrong end of the stick.
