Coronation Street fans demand ‘don’t’ as they spot new couple ahead of ‘seduction’ ploy

Coronation Street fans have made their feelings clear about a potential new couple after a ‘seduction’ ploy was uncovered. Viewers of the ITV soap have previously been quick to notice Kit Green’s interest in Daisy Midgeley.

Daisy is now single after her split from Ryan Connor a few weeks ago. There was emotional scenes as Ryan decided to call it quits when he released Daisy was still in love with her ex-fiancé, Daniel Osbourne, despite him rekindling his former romance with Bethany Platt.

But in the midst of all that, dodgy cop Kit has been making himself at home as the Rovers Return’s latest lodger alongside Daisy and Jenny Connor.

And he’s made no secret of his flirtatious attempts to get Daisy to be interested in him, which continued during Wednesday night’s (October 23) trip to the cobbles.

Daisy headed into the back room of the Rovers where Kit was working away on the investigation into Joel Deering’s murder. She mocked him, saying he was working on his dating profile and he couldn’t help but make some comments back about not needing help in the dating department despite her insistence.

Following the scenes, Corrie fans were quick to flock to social media to share their thoughts on the possible romance.@RyanTheSoapking said: “Don’t tell me they are going to put Kit & Daisy together? #Corrie.”

It comes after spoilers for next week’s Corrie have revealed that over a beer in the bistro, Ryan laments to Kit that he was right to dump Daisy but he still misses her. As Ryan lists everything Daisy expects from a partner, he’s blissfully unaware that Kit’s making mental notes.

Daisy’s then enthused when Kit lays out her favourite chocolates and makes out he’s addicted to watching Real Housewives. With Daisy impressed, Kit’s pleased his inside info is working.

Later, Ryan lets slip that Daisy’s favourite film is The Holiday and again, Kit makes a mental note and soon suggests to Daisy they watch the film to mark his last night at the pub. As Kit flirts with Daisy, Ryan’s shocked to hear of his duplicity and confronts Kit. How will he react?
