Coronation Street’s Claire Sweeney shares heartfelt message to Ricky Hatton as couple ditch UK
Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney sent a heartfelt message to Ricky Hatton as he celebrated his birthday. The former Brookside star and the boxing legend regularly update fans with their blossoming romance on social media after meeting on Dancing On Ice.
The 53-year-old shared a video featuring several pictures of the couple together. One picture shows the couple next to the Cilla Black statue on Mathew Street in Liverpool city centre.
In an Instagram post, Claire said: “Happy birthday darling.” The message was followed with a heart emoji.

Fans flooded the comment section with birthday messages to the Hitman. One fan said: “Beautiful photo and happy birthday.” Another fan added: “You look like such a great couple! I bet you are so much fun on a night out.”

The couple recently shared a selfie together from Manchester Airport ahead of a holiday to Tenerife. In an Instagram post the Coronation Street star Claire Sweeney has posted a pic of the happy couple with the caption: ”Off to celebrate my man’s birthday in Tenerife.” Ricky also posted the image to his social media page.
This is not the first holiday they have went on together. In May they shared snaps of a holiday to Tenerife together with their friends and looking very happy together. It was reported earlier this year that the couple had been ‘besotted’ with each other and said they have had “electric chemistry” since meeting during rehearsals for Dancing On Ice.
