Corrie killer Joel’s female accomplice ‘revealed’ – and Bethany will be devastated
Corrie fans reckon Joel is in cahoots with a resident after he was exposed as Lauren’s attacker - but it’s not Kit or Nathan as fans reckon it’s a female character in a huge twist
Coronation Street fans have rumbled which cobbles resident is working with Joel Deering – and it’s a female.
Last week, it was finally revealed that it was the solicitor, played by Calum Lill who is the attacker of Lauren Bolton. Fans will recall the troubled youngster, has been missing since February – with Roy Cropper being the last known person to see her alive.
The search for Lauren then became a murder inquiry. And a slew of residents left fans suspicious, including Roy – who ended up getting put behind bars accused of killing the teenager.
However, in Thursday’s dramatic episode (May 30) fans learned that it was Joel who was responsible for Lauren’s disappearance. But in a shock twist the cunning legal advisor has pushed the suspicion onto Nathan Curtis.
Nathan (Chris Harper), who is Bethany Platt’s former abuser, has since been arrested in connection with the teen’s apparent death.
But viewers of the long-running soap are certain that Joel is not working alone – with some claiming the new copper Kit could be in on it, as part of a gang grooming young girls like Nathan liked to do.
However, other fans have now ‘worked out’ who exactly Joel could be working with – and she’s a female. Online, fans are certain Joel is in cahoots with none other than Nicky Wheatley (Kimberly Hart-Simpson)
Nicky was introduced back in 2020 and recently returned amid the Lauren Bolton storyline. Nicky rocked back up to help find Lauren with Bethany, having supposedly turned her life around, with a new job working with troubled youngsters.
But in what would be a huge twist, viewers think she is working with Joel. Over on a Corrie Facebook fan page, one person mused: “That Nikki is definitely the madam…..” Fans were quick to reply and agree, with one writing: “Ye I think she’s something to do with it.” A third penned: “Yes, I think Nikki is involved, she is the madam.
“What proof is there that she’s turned her life around and is working to help these girls? Has anyone checked this? She could be saying anything, she’s very convincing.” Another chimed in and agreed: “Yep something dodgy about her.” A fifth wrote: “I completely agree.”
