Death fears for Coronation Street’s Aadi in heart breaking final exit scenes

Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) is ready for a fresh start after months of cock-ups, missteps and creating carnage on all fronts in Coronation Street.
It all started to free-fall for Aadi when he took over his Dad, Dev Alahan’s (Jimmi Harkishin) beloved corner shop. When Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) suggested that he throw a mid-summer party, and to counter her claims that he’s ‘boring’, Aadi agreed.
The party was utterly disastrous. While Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby)and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) willingly took some LSD supplied by Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) and headed off on their own bad trip, Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) found herself unwittingly ingesting the substance and had a hideous experience of her own.
Wracked with guilt, Aadi and Lauren developed a relationship, with her unknowing of Aadi’s role in her ordeal.

In the midst of the LSD drama, Aadi plunged the family business into £12,000 of debt and staged a robbery with Brody in order to claim on the insurance.
The biggest flaw in the plan? Aadi hadn’t paid the insurance premiums in months and wouldn’t receive a penny.
When Bernie discovered his predicament, the duo teamed up to use Dev’s Aunty Rani’s (Josephine Welcome) money to solve the problem, but this scheme fell apart when Dev banished Rani for disparaging Bernie.

Following the drama of the wedding between his Dad and Bernie following her collapse, Aadi finally breaks.
Retreating to Victoria Gardens, Aadi gets sloshed and decides to admit to his sins.
Aadi finally confessed to everything. An infuriated Dev tells Aadi of his plan to send him to India, while a horrified Lauren reports Aadi to the police, leading to his arrest – moments after reconnecting with Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).

Aadi’s arrest was seemingly the wake up call he needed. Contacting his cousin, Vikram, he plans a fresh start in India and while Dev is overjoyed at his sons maturity, Asha is less than pleased at the prospect of losing her brother.
While Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Mary Taylor (Patti Clare) intervene by trying to reunite Amy and Aadi in a bid to get him to stay, Aadi is excited about his new life and he and Amy agree to remain platonic friends.
Although things seem to have started going right for Aadi, things take a potentially dark turn when Asha, while on shift as a paramedic, is called to a car accident. When she realises that the car is Aadi’s, she’s hit with sheer terror – has something awful happened to Aadi?
