Coronation Street’s Kate Ford in tears as she begs fans to stop taking pictures of her without asking permission
The actress – who plays Tracy Barlow in the ITV soap – issued a tearful plea on social media to stop fans from the intrusive behaviour.

Kate posted: “Please please can people ask to take a photo or video of me please, I find it so difficult to cope with when people do this without asking
“I always oblige when asked x”
Fans flocked to support Kate and shared experiences they had had with her where she had happily taken pictures.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star Baga Chipz told her: “We met on the tube the once! I had to come over and ask! As im a huge fan. I get people whispering and taking pics now.. If anyone asks I always say yes.”

A second fan told her: “Hey Kate, I once served you in HMV around Christmas time.
“It was my first day and you were so patient and polite with me, I felt under so much pressure but your respectfulness made my day.
“I hope people learn to respect you as a person and not as a celebrity with no feelings.”
On-screen Tracy is involved in one of the biggest and most moving plots in the show’s history, with her step-son Oliver being diagnosed with life-limiting Mitochondrial disease.
The heartbreaking storyline is hoping to raise awareness of the condition – and ultimately funding for potential treatments.
