Coronation Street star shares one thing Jack P Shepherd ‘f*****g hates’ about CBB co-stars

Jack P Shepherd

Coronation Street stars Colson Smith and Ben Price said there’s one thing Celebrity Big Brother stars are doing that Jack P Shepherd secretly hates.

The 37-year-old, who plays David Platt on the soap, has made it through to the final six of the 2025 series, which will conclude this Friday.

Those up for the win include; Jack, Chesney Hawkes, Donna Preston, Chris Hughes, JoJo Siwa and Danny Beard, following the latest triple eviction.

Commenting on the most recent antics from the housemates, Colson and Ben said they’ve noticed Jack being “forced to hug” on a few occasions.

While the actor has seemingly had no problem with hugs, his soap co-stars said he secretly hates them.

Speaking on their podcast On The Sofa, Ben commented: “What I’m loving about towards the end is how many times Jack is forced to hug, he f****g hates it.”

“The pick up, Chris picking him up,” Colson, who came third on the show last year, chimed in.

Ben added: “Chris picking him up, like he’s not a child, he’s not a play thing. Danny picked him up as well.”

“I know, yeah, like he’s a toy,” Colson added, laughing. “Literally, like he’s a little action man or a barbie doll that they get to play with.

“Little baby, little baby Platt the action man, it did feel like that.”

Also in the latest Celebrity Big Brother episode, Jack told Chris that he couldn’t have made it through the series without him, during a chat about their bromance.

Addressing the moment, Colson said: “I am glad that Jack’s gone in there and actually found someone and had that kind of bond, because Jack wouldn’t actually say, ‘I don’t know what I would’ve done if you weren’t’ here’.

“You know, he obviously has appreciated having someone who he can gravitate to, throw a look to and speak to at night.”

The actor went on to say he believes Jack “has a chance” at winning, and joked he was going to come up with “a master plan” to help make it happen.

Ben, on the other hand, said it was best to leave Jack’s fate down to “lady luck” and expressed confidence that his co-star will be “in the top three”.
