All 32 Coronation Street pictures for next week as the end of an era is confirmed
Coronation Street kicks off a big storyline next week for a much-loved character, as confirmed in our new spoiler pictures, with Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) making an appointment at a private clinic.
The hotelier, as viewers know, has experienced a number of frightening incidents over the past few weeks and, worried about what they might mean for her, she decides to take action next week.
In a private corner of her Chariot Square hotel, Debbie makes an appointment with a clinic, with subsequent scenes later in the week seeing her recount the incidents in question to a doctor as she wonders if it might be down to the menopause.
However, she gets a huge shock when the doctor in question explains that she might have suffered a mini stroke – and therefore he wants to refer her to be tested for vascular dementia.
Metro exclusively revealed last year that Debbie is set to be diagnosed with dementia in a storyline that will ultimately lead to her exit.
Coronation Street confirmed the storyline earlier this week, with fans up in arms over the impending loss of one of the show’s most beloved characters – so much so they created a petition.
Elsewhere on the Street during the week in question, Theo (James Cartwright) apologises to Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and musters up the courage to admit that he really likes him.
Spying an opportunity, Todd invites Theo back to the house – but things take an unexpected turn when the scaffolder later shows up at Shuttleworths, wanting to arrange a funeral.

In terms of what else is to come, Abi Webster (Sally Carman) heads to Freshcos, where she encounters a man called Carl.
As Carl attempts to take her parking space, Abi loses her temper and – shouting that her husband has cancer – she lashes out. But it seems as though sparks could be set to fly between the two soon afterwards.
