1. Roy thwarts Cassie’s drug deal
Evelyn struggles to celebrate her birthday amid her worries over Cassie’s latest downward spiral. Despite Cassie’s recent wrongdoing, Evelyn tells Fiz and Tyrone that she’s determined to support her daughter.
Later, Cassie meets her drug dealer in the precinct, but Roy boldly interrupts the exchange by threatening to call the police.
2. Ken falls out with Tracy again
Ken discovers that Tracy is partly to blame for Cassie’s relapse, as she tried to tempt her with drugs in a cruel revenge plan.
He warns Tracy that he’s planning to visit the Peak District for a few days but wants her gone by the time he returns.
Meanwhile, Evelyn offers to give up her studies so that she can be there for Cassie. Will Cassie take her up on this?
3. Betsy is left fearful
Betsy refuses to leave the flat while Rob is still on the run from the police. Carla offers to take the day off work to keep her company.
Later, Carla has to leave unexpectedly due to a problem at the factory. Betsy becomes fearful again and panics when the door buzzer rings.
4. Carla and Lisa decide to confront Mandy
Carla pays a visit to the hospital with Roy and spots Mandy – Rob’s ex-lover and prison guard, who recently helped the dangerous criminal escape. Carla asks Roy to keep an eye on Mandy while she alerts Lisa.
Later, Carla and Lisa set off in pursuit of Mandy.
5. Tracy is drawn into Rob’s drama
Tracy is stunned when she spots Rob lurking in the ginnel. When he asks to stay overnight at No. 1, Tracy reluctantly agrees but warns that she can’t harbour him for any longer than that.
Before long, Tracy is drawn into doing Rob’s dirty work as she meets up with his dodgy contact to collect a fake passport. Mary is suspicious when she spots Tracy accepting a package in the ginnel.
6. Rob asks Tracy to run away with him
As Rob starts to outstay his welcome, Tracy urges him to leave No. 1, as she doesn’t want to risk going back to prison for him. They’re interrupted by Mary banging on the door, and as Rob plans to flee, his legs give way and he collapses.
Once Tracy manages to get rid of Mary, she’s put on the spot as Rob suggests that she should leave with him so they can start a new life together.
7. Dee-Dee receives shocking news
Lauren calls Dee-Dee to the hospital after hearing some surprising news about baby Frankie.
Dee-Dee is surprised to learn that another donor has become available for Frankie. Although it’s a relief to know that Frankie won’t have to wait for Dee-Dee’s baby to be born, Dee-Dee battles with mixed emotions over what this means for her situation.
8. James’ baby idea shocks Dee-Dee
Dee-Dee’s brother James returns to Weatherfield, now played by show newcomer Jason Callender.
James suggests to Dee-Dee that he and his boyfriend Danny could adopt the baby, as they’d be able to guarantee a loving and safe home for the child. Is Dee-Dee willing to consider this?
8. Daisy’s memorial is disrupted
Daisy and Daniel hold a small memorial event in the Rovers backyard to commemorate Daisy’s baby. Kit is invited, but he seems uninterested.
Daisy, Daniel and Jenny gather to light candles and reflect on the loss of the baby. Sadly, the moment is ruined when chaotic couple Mick and Lou burst in from the ginnel.
10. Brody shows his true colours
Daniel tries to warn Dylan that Brody isn’t to be trusted, but the impressionable teen refuses to listen.
Later, Sean visits Dylan in the Secure Training Centre. He’s pleased that Dylan seems to be settling in well, but everything changes when Brody approaches.
Brody demands that Sean supplies him with a burner phone on his next visit, otherwise he’ll make Dylan’s life a misery.
11. Dylan is targeted by Brody
Sean tells Dylan about Brody’s threats and vows to report him. Dylan insists this is a bad idea and begs Sean to let him deal with the problem himself.
Later, Dylan warns Brody that Sean won’t supply the phone, but he managed to talk Sean out of telling anyone about it. This isn’t enough to satisfy Brody, who waits for his moment to sneak into Dylan’s room with his friends to teach him a lesson.
12. Debbie gets confused
Debbie storms into Street Cars to complain that her cab is late, but there’s confusion when Eileen can’t find the booking. Eileen blames herself, explaining that she’s distracted as Julie has been diagnosed with cancer.
Later in the week, Debbie faces more problems when she’s surprised by an issue with the electrics at the hotel. Mick looks into the situation for her, but it turns out that it was a planned outage she’d already been warned about.
These scenes appear to be setting up Debbie’s emotional new storyline, which will see her diagnosed with dementia.
13. Eileen struggles to cope
Julie has lunch with Eileen and Todd at The Rovers, where she explains that she’d like to discuss her funeral.
An emotional Eileen explains that she’s not ready to have this conversation and heads out.
