1. Bobby puts his trust in Rob
Following Rob’s decision to save Carla by going ahead with the kidney transplant, Bobby decides that he’ll start visiting his dad on a regular basis again.
Carla is concerned over this, warning Bobby to be careful.
2. Mandy faces the music
At the hospital, Rob calls Mandy because he needs her help with a new escape plan. Mandy warns that she has been suspended from her job because someone found out about their secret relationship.
Taking a major risk, Mandy returns to the hospital and pretends to Carla that Rob has taken a turn for the worse. Carla asks to speak to a nurse, but this sparks an extreme reaction as Mandy suddenly turns on her.
3. Rob’s escape plan goes horribly wrong
Rob’s drastic plan unfolds as he attacks a male security guard and steals his uniform. He then takes Carla with him as a hostage as he flees from the hospital, but Lisa is determined to stand in his way and rushes off in hot pursuit.
Later, Rob lies motionless at the bottom of an office block stairwell. What has happened to him?
4. Kit launches an investigation
It’s another busy week at work for Kit as he launches an investigation into the incident with Rob. But is the escaped prisoner still alive?
Kit’s detective work leads to Lisa being brought in for questioning about what happened with Rob.
5. Julie returns with a secret
Todd convinces Billy to join him for a singles’ event at Debbie’s hotel. Billy reluctantly goes along but when two guys approach him and Todd, he gets cold feet and leaves. George gives Todd a hard time for pushing Billy too soon after Paul’s death.
Later, Todd spots that Julie is at the event too. Julie is keeping secrets from her family – why is she back in Weatherfield after so many years away?
6. David struggles with more bad news
David’s difficult start to the year continues and there seems to be no end in sight.
Although we can’t give the exact details away, David is hit with another piece of bad news from Nick. How will he cope?
Later in the week, Andy offers David the chance to be part of yet another criminal job.
7. Max’s fate is revealed
Max is in prison after being caught out over the fire.
David and Shona visit the worried teenager, revealing that they’ve asked for him to be moved to a prison in Scotland amid fears that Harvey’s heavies could get to him if he stays closer to home.
8. Abi gets a huge shock
Abi waits for news at the hospital as Kevin undergoes his operation. The pressure becomes too much for Abi amid her ongoing struggles with PTSD, so she rushes off.
When Kevin wakes following his surgery, he’s told that it was successful but is dismayed to realise that Abi isn’t there.
Haunted by memories of Mason’s death, Abi is drawn to a nearby gurney at the hospital. She pulls back the sheet and gets the shock of her life.
9. Sally worries about Kevin pushing himself too hard
Sally visits Kevin in hospital. She’s concerned when Kevin insists that Abi needs him, so he’ll be discharging himself from hospital early.
Later, Abi attends her first therapy session and finds a familiar face there. Once she returns home, she promises Kevin that she has taken the first step on her road to recovery and now plans to focus on looking after him.
10. Daniel and Kit demand answers
Daniel and Kit both visit The Rovers, frustrated over the lack of answers over which of them is the father of Daisy’s unborn baby.
Daisy continues to lie to them both, claiming that she’s still waiting for a response from the DNA testing company.
11. Bobby hides a secret
Ryan puts pressure on Daisy, claiming that it’s high time she paid back the money that she owes to Carla.
Later, Ryan gets distracted when he hears Bobby making a suspicious phone call, agreeing to pick up some cash for someone. Ryan follows Bobby into the factory, determined to know what he’s up to.
12. Cassie’s scams continue
Cassie buys two air fryers, but hides one in the hallway. She shows the other one to Ken, trying to confuse him as she lies that he told her to buy it using his money.
Later, Cassie uploads pictures of one of the air fryers on social media and marks it ‘for sale’, hoping to make even more cash from Ken.
13. Mick and Lou have an explosive row
Newcomer Mick meets Gemma and Chesney for the first time as his wife Lou introduces them. Chesney kindly helps Mick to move furniture into their new house on nearby Mawdsley Street.
Later, things go wrong when Mick admits that he accidentally broke a vase belonging to Lou’s late grandmother. Lou is outraged and a huge row follows between the volatile couple.
Gemma asks Chesney to play peacemaker by talking to Mick, but will he manage to sort things out?
14. Chesney grows wary over Mick
Mick tells Chesney that he recognises him from somewhere, but Chesney remains unaware that Mick is the mysterious van man who’s been tormenting him.
Later, George grows irritated with the new neighbours and confronts Mick for blasting loud music from his house. Mick promises to turn it down, but Chesney is left uneasy over his reaction.
