SHOCKING NEWS!! Does Max d.i.e in Coronation Street fire? đ±đ±
This article contains spoilers for tonightâs Coronation Street, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on ITVX.
Tonightâs dramatic instalment of Coronation Street saw the Platt family home go up in flames, with several residents caught up in the blaze.
Prior to the fire being started by a mystery assailant, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) was knocked unconscious in the kitchen by Abi Webster (Sally Carman), who was suffering an hallucination.
As Abi confronted Toyah about reporting her to social services, she began to see d.e.a.d son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), and pushed Toyah away as she panicked.
Toyah hit her head on the counter and was left unconscious on the floor.
After being alerted to the blaze, the Platts rushed to the scene, where Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) burst in, looking for Toyah and Lily respectively.
With Lily having been confirmed safe, Max rushed in to find Shona.
What happened in the fire at the Plattâs house?
When Max and Shona attempted to get out of the burning building, they found that the door had jammed shut.
Though Shona managed to force her way out, the door slammed shut behind her, leaving Max trapped inside.
Out on the street, Shona tried to catch her breath enough to tell David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) that Max was still trapped inside.
Moments after Shona broke the news, the house was rocked by an enormous explosion, with Max seemingly still inside.

Does Max Turner d.i.e in the fire?
It is currently unknown whether Max will d.i.e in the fire, or if he will make it out alive.
In upcoming scenes, a firefighter is set to stumble across Maxâs lifeless body, before quickly loading him into an ambulance.
Will Max pull through, or is it too late?
