In upcoming scenes, Fiz is left reeling when she unexpectedly comes face to face with someone from their past who could have significant implications for their future.
Next week, as Fiz is going about her shopping at Fresco’s, she runs into Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) in the car park. Fans will recall that Alina was introduced in 2019 as part of a storyline involving human trafficking.
Fiz was shocked when Tyrone confessed his love for Alina, and although they attempted to make their relationship work, they eventually split, with Tyrone moving in with Alina. However, their romance was short-lived, and Alina left Weatherfield in 2021.
At that time, it was heavily implied that Alina might have been pregnant with Tyrone’s child, despite her denials.
As Fiz grapples with the decision of whether to inform Tyrone about Alina’s return, the situation escalates when Tyrone’s mother, Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney), spots Alina’s name on an airport booking at the cab office.
Taking Steve McDonald’s (Simon Gregson) cab, Cassie helps Alina into the vehicle and drives her back to Coronation Street to confront Tyrone.
