Next week, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) and Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) will face major challenges in their relationship. Despite enjoying a sweet romance, Sam will be heartbroken when Hope decides to break up with him. The situation worsens as Hope shifts her attention to Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes), much to the dismay of her mother, Fiz Dobbs (Jenny McAlpine).
Later in the week, Hope decides to start taking birth control pills and visits Dr. Gaddas, who provides her with condoms and advises her to talk to her family. The question remains: How will her family react?
Meanwhile, Fiz may be distracted from her daughter’s troubles when she unexpectedly encounters someone from her past with her husband, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall). Fiz will be shocked to run into Alina Pop (Ruxandra Porojnicu) in the Fresco’s parking lot. Alina, who was first introduced in 2019 as part of a human trafficking storyline, returns to Weatherfield to testify as a witness in a trial.
As fans will remember, the last time Alina was seen in 2021, it was heavily implied she was pregnant with Tyrone’s child after their brief relationship disrupted his marriage to Fiz. Will Fiz inform Tyrone of his ex’s reappearance, and will it turn out that Tyrone has a secret child?
