Corrie Cuts Episode from ITVX Schedule as Joel Deering’s Killer is Revealed for a SHOCKING REASON
Coronation Street is set to air a special episode on Friday evening as Joel Deering's killer is finally revealed but fans will have to wait a little longer to watch it
Coronation Street fans are in for a treat this Friday evening (November 15) as the identity of Joel Deering’s killer is finally unveiled. The ITV soap will broadcast a special episode featuring a series of flashbacks from that fateful night, interspersed with Kit Green’s (played by Jacob Roberts) police interviews.
Viewers will at last learn the sequence of events leading to Joel’s (Callum Lil) demise and witness the view from the bridge. The revelation of Joel’s murderer will occur as audiences discover who dealt the fatal blow.
However, viewers will need to tune into ITV1 to see the drama unfold, as it won’t be available to stream on ITVX beforehand. Last month, ITV altered their release schedule for both Corrie and Emmerdale, with the latest episodes of both soaps being made available on ITVX each morning at 7am.
While new episodes continue to air in their usual ITV1 slots that evening, the change was implemented to offer viewers more flexibility in how they watch their favourite soaps.
However, for this Friday’s upcoming special episode, there will be a significant change where fans will have to wait a bit longer for the thrilling reveal as it premieres on ITV1, not ITVX.
