Coronation Street fans may be in for a surprise next week as spoilers hint at the return of Tracy Barlow, following her recent departure. While it’s not confirmed what prompts her return this time, there’s a possibility that it could be an offscreen comeback or she might appear onscreen but not in Weatherfield.
The latest soap teasers for next Wednesday’s episode suggest she is back on the Cobbles, although no spoiler images have been released. Her ‘return’ is quite sudden with no prior mention, only that she is involved in a storyline with her father Ken Barlow.
Earlier this year, Tracy left for a new life abroad with Tommy Orpington and returned briefly after a fallout with him before leaving again to join him. If Tracy is back on the cobbles already, what has transpired now and could Tommy be accompanying her?
Is her return permanent, and has something occurred that has led to her coming back so soon? It was known that Tracy would return at some point, with actress Kate Ford reportedly reprising the role full-time after her two stints offscreen this year.
