ITV Coronation Street’s Max and Lauren’s secret ‘sealed’ – and it’s bad news for Bobby
Coronation Street is lining up a mystery for Lauren Bolton and Max Turner in upcoming scenes, with the pair acting suspiciously amid the murder of someone linked to them
Coronation Street is setting up a new mystery involving characters Lauren Bolton and Max Turner. The duo arouse suspicion with their odd behaviour in forthcoming scenes, following the murder of an individual connected to them.
The friends and ex-lovers have become closer in recent episodes after Lauren’s baby son Frankie fell seriously ill. Frankie was born prematurely after Joel Deering drugged a pregnant Lauren in a horrifying attempt to kill her unborn child.
In next week’s episodes, there will be an update on Frankie’s condition, who has been fighting for his life. Alongside this, there’s the shocking revelation that Joel’s body has been discovered, and it appears he has been murdered.
Several characters, including Lauren, are questioned about the crime. As the plot develops, Bobby Crawford, who had a brief romance with Lauren earlier in the year, pledges his support for Lauren and Frankie.
He also confesses to Max that his feelings for Lauren remain unchanged, leaving Max feeling uncomfortable. But how will Lauren react?
When Nick Tilsley, Max’s uncle, casually asks Lauren about her recent stay at No.8, could this suggest that she and Max are concealing something? The seemingly random scene hints at a deeper storyline, reports the Mirror.
In the same episode, Bobby stumbles upon Max and Lauren in the Rovers, only for Max to make a hasty departure. Bobby, noticing this, begins to question what’s happening, sensing that both Max and Lauren are concealing something.
He’s aware of their evasive behaviour, and realises something isn’t right. So when Lauren also makes a quick exit, Bobby is left puzzled – but what are the duo hiding?
