Coronation Street to air shock disappearance as Alina announces exit

Tyrone makes a terrifying discovery.

Coronation Street is set to air a shock disappearance as Alina Pop announces her exit from Weatherfield.

Alina recently returned to the cobbles to give testimony in a human trafficking trial, while Tyrone discovered that she has a son called Dorin.

However, she and Dorin have been in danger from the gang, with Alina recently entrusting Tyrone and Fiz to protect her son while she went into hiding until the trial was over.

In new scenes set to air next week, Fiz is informed by Tyrone that the people traffickers have been arrested, with Alina able to come out of hiding and pick up Dorin the following day.

Tyrone sees Hope and Ruby enthuse about their younger brother, leaving him upset, especially as they may never see Dorin again.

Alina arrives and lets them know that she and her son will be leaving for Romania tomorrow. Tyrone then opens the back door to call Ruby and Dorin in, and is left horrified to discover they’re nowhere to be seen.

Where have they disappeared to?

In other Coronation Street news, star Peter Ash has teased his upcoming final scene as Paul Foreman, as his character passes away due to his progression of MND (motor neurone disease).

“It was a beautiful scene. It was quite hard to not get emotional during the scene,” he explained. “[The other cast members] are giving those beautiful goodbyes, and I’ve got to pretend to not hear it.

“And especially once he does pass, it’s that thing of trying not to breathe at all, which gets a bit tricky after a while!

“But the scene in general, it was just a beautiful way to end it. Obviously, I’m not going to give anything away apart from that, but it was great to have all my favourites there in my last scene.”
