Corrie fans ‘expose’ Lauren Bolton’s new love interest – and it’s not Max or Daniel
Coronation Street fans are convinced they have worked out who Lauren Bolton's (Cait Fitton) new love interest will be on the ITV soap
Corrie fans reckon they’ve sussed out who Lauren Bolton’s next romance could be with on the ITV soap.
The troubled youngster(Cait Fitton) has been through the wringer since she first popped up on the scene in 2022. And recently, Lauren made a bombshell comeback to the cobbles lately, after vanishing for months.
It turned out, it was dodgy lawyer Joel Deering (Calum Lill) who was behind her disappearance.Joel wormed his way into Lauren’s life last year after helping her out with bills, eventually coercing her into a sexual relationship.
After a fiery row where Lauren dropped fiancee Dee-Dee Bailey’s (Channique Sterling-Brown) name, Joel hit Lauren over the head and left her for dead.
But when Lauren rocked up again, she dropped a bombshell on Joel she was pregnant with his kid. In a vile twist, Joel tried to kill her and their baby by drugging her, hoping to cause a miscarriage, reports the Express.
His grim plot flopped, though, as she gave birth prematurely and the tot made it. And even though Joel thought he’d got away scot-free, last week the truth came out.
Since then, Lauren and Dee-Dee have joined forces to bring Joel to justice. But fans are buzzing with theories about who Lauren might get cosy with next.
Some fans are betting on a spark with her mate Max Turner (Patrick Bever), while others are convinced that Lauren and Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) might hit it off, saying they’d be “really good” together.
Soap fans have taken to a Reddit thread to dish out their predictions for Craig’s potential new romance on the show. One user commented: “Maybe Lauren. She could use someone nice right now.”
Another fan was on board with the idea, writing: “I think this is actually a really good suggestion. I don’t care for either of these characters’ storylines past or present but I think this could be the making of them both.”
