Mics Capture Caitlin Clark’s Message to Angel Reese Before All-Star Game Connection

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark made plenty of noise during the WNBA All-Star Game. She led Team WNBA to a victory over Team USA and she registered 10 assists with plenty of highlight-reel plays.

One such play was a leaked footage of her leading the WNBA All-Star team on the court and being vocal, showing her leadership and awareness of the game. In the clip, Clark was directing fellow rookie Angel Reese, saying, “go, go, go” while Sabrina Ionescu’s shot was still going through the net.

Then, Clark hits Reese with the pass, and the Chicago Sky rookie’s shot goes through the net in an incredible sequence. Reese was waiting right under the basket as Clark hit her with the perfect pass for the easy score in a well-executed play all-around.

Clark’s All-Star Game performance went viral, especially since she was not chosen to be on Team USA in what was a surprising omission.

Clark played well in the game despite her shot not falling, but she was able to facilitate the ball and showcase her passing ability.

Clark finished the game with just four points but she managed 10 assists. Reese had 12 points and 11 rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench, so both rookies performed well in the victory.

Nonetheless, this connection between Clark and Reese shows how good the Fever rookie is at directing traffic on the court. Furthermore, it’s a two-way race for WNBA Rookie of the Year between Reese and Clark, and this connection was fun to watch.
