It’s the WNBA All-Star Weekend and like its name says, the stars from the sport are out. There many experienced players and taking the fact that it will be the United Stated team that will be competing in the summer 2024 Paris Olympics against the stars from the league that were no selected, the ingredients for a great game are set.

Of course, we can add up a few more things, like the fact that a couple of young players will be participating in the game as well and all eyes will be on them. Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese and Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark are ready participate in the featured game and so far, nothing but great complements are being said.

As we find ourselves at the midpoint of the 2024 WNBA season, Clark and Reese are preparing to be teammates on Saturday. The two players are the only All-Stars making their debut among the league’s all-star group, the first time a pair of rookies have been named All-Stars since 2014, when Chiney Ogwumike and Shoni Schimmel were selected.

Nothing but respect and love between the young talented players

Both players seemed to be very excited to play together. Considering the situation of both the Sky and the Fever, both players are destined to lead the franchises, however just the thought of them playing together is fulfilling for the fans.

“It goes by so fast, and you don’t want to miss any of the moments,” Clark said. “It’s crazy. It seems like yesterday I was in college and now I’m at my first All-Star Game, so you just have to reflect on everything and enjoy it and take some time to reset and then come back and be ready for the second half.”

“I’m looking forward to the day,” Reese said. “Everyone will be able to wear their ‘Get Along’ t-shirts together for at least one day. I know a lot of people are going to come to see us, to see all of us, but there is a lot of talent on both teams’ rosters, so they are in for a treat, good day,” it will definitely be a good day.
