Home and Away has confirmed its next wedding storyline in a “beautiful episode” hailed by fans.
The latest instalment of the Aussie soap saw a huge development in Cash Newman and Eden Fowler’s relationship.
The pair recently reconnected after Abigail’s kidnap ordeal, as Cash took full responsibility for ending their engagement last year. However, things haven’t been smooth-sailing for the couple since their reunion, with the dangerous River Boys targeting the policeman and his loved ones.
In today’s episode, Cash made a big decision about his future, having convinced Eden to go away with him. He took her on a trip to his dad Gary’s house, where Eden’s mum Deb was waiting to surprise her.

The party was completed by Abigail, Levi, Mackenzie, Remi and Kirby, who all gathered around as Cash led Eden into the fold. He got down on one knee and presented her with a ring.
“Eden, I know that you and I have been to hell and back, and that largely has been my fault – so sorry Deb,” he began. “I don’t ever want to be away from you ever again. I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Eden Fowler, will you marry me?”
Eden tearfully accepted the proposal, as their families cheered and clapped. The clip of the emotional engagement was posted on the soap’s Instagram page, captioned: “I’m not crying, you’re crying”.
Fans were delighted by the happy news, commenting that it was “such a beautiful episode to watch”.
“Please let them actually get married and be somewhat happy (I know it’s a soap and there has to be drama but they were meant to be together),” one wrote.
“I know it’s not real but I am actually so happy for them I love them as a couple,” said another, while a third added: “YAY!!!!! Hope they get their happy ending. Omg I didn’t expect to get emotional but this scene literally made me cry with happy tears. Flick would be so happy for them both.”
