Coronation Street’s Daisy warns Daniel after tragic loss
Coronation Street‘s Daisy Midgeley has issued Daniel Osbourne a warning following the tragic loss of her baby.
Earlier this week, pregnant Daisy was hit by a car following a showdown in which Daniel demanded to know if he was the baby’s biological father.
Daisy admitted she had lied and ran out of the pub where she was hit by a speeding car that also hit David Platt. The pair were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
In tonight’s episode, the outcome of the crash was revealed after the doctor broke the news to a devastated Daisy that she had lost the baby and would need drugs to induce a miscarriage.
When the baby’s biological father DC Kit Green heard what happened, he visited Daisy, telling her how sorry he was.
“You would’ve been a good dad,” Daisy told Kit, who left Daisy and Daniel in the hospital room.
Daniel told Daisy he wanted them to be together, suggesting they put recent events behind them and start afresh. A horrified Daisy accused Daniel of being relieved that the baby had died.
“Everything’s so much easier and simpler for you now,” a tearful Daisy said to Daniel. “You’re relieved my baby’s gone. Well let me tell you something, my baby will never be gone.”
Elsewhere, David, who had ordered a hit on his own life, regained consciousness and told Shona that he had set up the hit and run in order to use the life insurance to pay off Harvey.
A desperate Shona blackmailed Daisy for £40k, saying she will tell the police that Daisy ran her over if she didn’t. Daisy told Daniel she was transferring the amount from Bertie’s money.
After receiving a text from Daisy, Shona told David that she had found the money to pay off Harvey.
