Coronation Street murder declared as legend is rushed to hospital in 21 pictures

Coronation Street is lining up an incredibly dramatic week, as confirmed in my new pictures, with a murder on the cards – and suspects aplenty.

Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) study CCTV footage from a train station carpark where they spot Joel Deering (Calum Lill) and his dad around a locker.

Determined to get answers, they request Gus’ presence at the station. But those answers that the officers are after come later in the week – though not exactly in the way they expected.

Three lads spot a body floating in the water and, yes, it actually is Joel.

Kit breaks the news to Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), while DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) informs everyone in the Rovers.

Things then take another turn, with the post mortem confirming that Joel was dead before he entered the river, which begs the question of who is to blame?

There are suspects everywhere and the police waste little time in investigating, but just what will unfold?

And who will have the finger pointed at them?

Elsewhere, Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) attempts to do something nice for dad Nick Tisley (Ben Price) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), hoping to reunite them, but he ends up injuring himself which leads to a hospital visit.

Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows), meanwhile, is angry with Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) when Mason reveals the special worker has found him somewhere to live.  Afterwards, the chef tells Yasmeen he is thinking of moving to Germany to be with Eliza and Dom.

But will this prove to be his exit story?
