There’s an agonising week ahead in Coronation Street, with Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) family forced to say the devastating goodbye they have been dreading since he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
As ailing Paul takes a turn for the worse, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) is oblivious to the situation unfolding as he retraces his steps to track down his lost phone.
Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) and Summer (Harriet Bibby) do all they can to keep Paul with them as Billy races home – but there’s every chance he could be too late…
Meanwhile, the fight back against two of Weatherfield’s most loathsome men is on, with news reaching the locals about Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper).
With Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) having secured incriminating files from his computer, has enough been done to bring him down at last?
And there is also hope in the case against evil Joel Deering (Calum Lill) when DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) finds herself with a lead…
Monday September 9
While complaining of his hangover, Billy realises he’s lost his phone and is thrown into panic as it contains all of his photos and memories.
As he sets off to retrace his steps, Summer and Bernie are horrified to discover Paul unresponsive on the sofa, struggling to breathe. Summer calls an ambulance but realising that Billy has left Paul at the worst possible time, with no way of contacting him, Bernie and Summer do everything they can to keep Paul alive.
