Coronation Street serves up all the emotions next week, as confirmed in my new picture gallery, with a major exit on the cards in addition to an overwhelming and traumatising situation.
Just your regular week on the Street, am I right?
Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) is preparing to do an upload as her interest in The Institute continues, much to the delight of Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), who urges her to relive her trauma in order to banish any negativity.
Leanne, however, soon realises that Rowan Cunliffe (Emrhys Cooper) is recording Amy. What happens next remains to be seen but things escalate quite dramatically as Amy does a malware session blindfolded.
The situation proves deeply upsetting for Amy as members of the cult bombard her with insults. Distressed, she runs away, with Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) left hellbent on unmasking Rowan.
The question is: will they succeed in doing so?
That remains to be seen, especially since Nick’s focus is elsewhere during the week in question as he and Toyah (Georgia Taylor) prepare to make the most of their final day together.
But will Leanne’s impromptu return spell trouble?
Elsewhere, Kit (Jacob Roberts) tells Beth Sutherland (Lisa George) that he wants her out of Weatherfield by the end of the week otherwise he’ll end Craig Tinker’s (Colson Smith) career.
Kirk (Andy Whyment) admits to Beth that he can’t live without her and reveals Peanut wearing a neckerchief saying ‘Marry me?’.
With Kit’s ultimatum weighing on her, will Beth flee or stay for a life on the cobbles with her one true love?
It’s going to be an unmissable week in Weatherfield!
